Special Guest Educator: Kim Newcomb
Kim Newcomb is an active voice teacher, coach, and
learning track maker based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Vocal Music Education from the University of North Texas and has always had a love for music and an interest in helping others find their voice. Kim has a wide array of experience singing and teaching all genres of music, but her most favourite to perform is barbershop. She has experience singing with both barbershop quartets and choruses at an internationally competitive level, and serves as a clinician at harmony camps around the world. Kim currently serves as the director for
Capital City Chorus, and sings baritone in the
2023 Sweet Adelines' International champion quartet,
The Ladies. She also sings tenor in a BHS mixed quartet,
Half and Half, which placed in the top 15 in 2022 at International as the highest ranking mixed quartet.
